A 12 year old girl simply identified as Eguono has been beheaded in the early hours of Thursday, November 29, 2018.
Our Correspondent reports that the incident took place in a compound close to Okwemeva Junction along the Scott Road area in Ogharefe, Oghara.
Sympathizers were seen mourning the deceased but no details were available as at press time as men of the Oghara police division came on ground and took the corpse of the girl away.
The incidences of ritual killings in Oghara have become a normal occurrence and nobody wants to talk about it.
The King, Local Government Chairman and big personalities have all kept sealed lips and not spoken on plans to end the menace.
Oghara, headquarter of Ethoipe West Local Government Area of Delta State is the home place of the former governor of Delta state, Chief James Ibori.
The community has different schools, companies, a Navy Logistic headquarter, Mobile Police barrack and a Divisional Police headquarter situated in it.
Interestingly, the town harbours youths of below 20 years without work and any meaningful source of livelihood that are richer than civil servants that have worked for up to 20 years.
