Oyivwi rebirth congress endorse Ogboru, others

Oyivwi Rebirth Congress (ORC), a support group for Great Ogboru, Monday December 29, endorsed the Labour Party governorship candidate Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru and other Labour Party candidates contesting for the State House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senate.
The endorsement which took place at the Ughelli kingdom hall, Ughelli, was done at the inaugural lecture organised by the Oyivwi Rebirth Congress with the theme looking into 2015 with hope, Great Ogboru the reality.
Delivering a keynote address at the inaugural lecture, the Rebirth Congress has both short and long term objectives.
According to him, the short term objective has to do with the present political situation of charting the course through which an Urhobo governor would definitely emerge. Particularly Great Ovedje Ogboru come 2015.
The President also declared that the Oyovwi Rebirth Congress is a veritably active and forceful instrument through which things will be made to happen especially to align with the Uvwiamuge declaration.
“Basically, it should be noted that with the strength of well co-ordinated and united force of the eight local governments that constitute Delta Central and Urhobo in Delta South, there is nothing that can stop us from achieving our main target which is Ogboru as a governor in 2015. It is absolutely non-negotiable.
According to Wilson, the theme of the lecture is a step to galvanize the Urhobo nation and other Deltans to key into the sunshine programme of Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru redemption government in 2015. This can be done by voting enmass, defending our votes and destroying rigging cells domiciled in some parts of the State in order to free Urhobo land.
