Odjimogho pledges to work towards peace and unity in Ughelli Kingdom.

Newly elected Chairman of Ughelli Descendants Union Youth Forum (UDUYF), Comrade Pius Odjimogho, has pledged to work towards the peace and unity of the Ughelli Kingdom.
Speaking shortly after his election which held at the Ughelli Kingdom Hall, Saturday, Aug 4, Comrade Odjimogho said the UDUYF will engage in conflict resolutions within the kingdom to ensure that all villages in the kingdom live in peace.
“As youth leader of UDU my responsibility is to keep the peace and protect indigenes and non-indigenes resident within the kingdom “he said.
Comrade Odjimogho who is a businessman is also a member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW). Until his election, he was the chairman of youths in Ekiugbo-Ughelli community.
Asked to comment on the recent killing of the youth chairman of Otor-Iwhreko community, Comrade Odjimogho lamented the ugly incident but promised that such incidences will not happen again as the UDUYF will be proactive to nip such in the bud by working in synergy with law enforcement agents to curb crime and criminality and the menace of cultism and cultists in the kingdom.
“We will do our best to help the police fight crime and cultists in the kingdom. Record of my performance as youth chairman of Ekiugbo-Ughelli is there to testify to my ability in that area and we will do our best”. He assured.
