OAIC hosts Okowa at Thanksgiving service in Ughelli

Governor Arthur Okowa, Thursday, Oct 31st, while in official movement in China, graced the recognition/thanksgiving service ceremony of the organization of African Instituted Churches, (OAIC), through his representative, Sen. Emmanuel Agwariavwodo at St. Lazarus Christ Church, Ughelli.
The Governor who offered two million naira offering in support of the recognition thanksgiving service, promised to reach the OAIC state executives led by Archbishop Arhavwrien again towards the building of its state secretariat in Asaba having earlier donated land for the secretariat building purpose.
Sen. Agwariavwodo who represented the Governor at the OAIC recognition thanksgiving service, also offered two hundred thousand naira offering personally in support of Governor Okowa, while the immediate past SSG, Hon (Chief) Festus Ovie Agas, also supported the Governor with two hundred and fifty thousand naira offering and Senior Apostle Julius Aroyehun gave five hundred thousand naira in support of the recognition thanksgiving service amongst others.
To mark the OAIC recognition thanksgiving service day, OAIC leadership in the state gave awards of excellent to eleven persons for their supportive hands to OAIC activities within the state.
Those so honoured by the OAIC body, includes Governor Okowa, Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, Most Senior Apostle Julius Ariyohun of Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S), Movement Church, Warri, Snr. Apostle Dr. S. Okorote, Mother of Grace, M.O Ohworho amongst others.
Earlier in his address, the Delta State Chairman of the OAIC, His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Jonathan M.O Arhavwarien (JP+) the president of St. Lazarus Christ Church, Ughelli Cathedral, specially thanked Gov. Okowa, Rt. Hon. Ovie Agas, Papa Ayo Oritsejafor and others for their involvements, recognitions and concern in all activities of OAIC in the state and at the local Government Areas of the state, praying God to empower them more in all ramifications for greatness and quest to make Delta State the greatest in Nigeria, according to his wish and heart desire of the State Governor, Sen. Okowa.
