Contrary to the US prediction that Nigeria will break up in the year 2015, and evil prophesies to support the prediction, Nigeria will not break.

His Lordship, Bishop Jonathan Arhavwarien (JP), General Overseer of St Lazarus Christ Church Int. Inc gave the assurance in an interview during the occasion of the 40th anniversary celebration of the founder of the church, His Lordship, Bishop Lazarus Africa Arhavwarien, held in Ewu-Urhobo, Friday, Feb. 13.

Asked what makes the founder of the church unique to be celebrated 40 years after his demise, the General Overseer said the founder as a man of God has been adjudged a saint.

“After his death his spirit is still working. When we pray through his name people are healed, when people go to his graveside and pray they get healing, when they pack the sand on his grave side and pray they get healing.

“In December last year, a woman from Bayelsa State died for three days after delivery and when we prayed she came back to life. These miracles make us to believe that he is a saint of God.” The GO said.

According to him, having miracles performed in the name of the founder of the church do not in any way portend him to be an anti-Christ because, “ he told us tha he was sent by Christ and so whatever we do, we do through the name of Jesus Christ since he was a servant of Christ.”

Prodded to prophesy about the political situation of Nigeria and the aftermath of the 2015 general elections, Bishop Jonathan  Arhavwarien said, “ I am a born prophet, I started this ministry 35 years ago and I have been prophesying about nations of the world. I told people that the 2015 elections in Nigeria will be postponed because the postponement of the elections is a divine arrangement to stop the plan of the enemy which was not good. So, we prayed that instead of danger and blood to be shed in Nigeria the elections should be postponed and God has answered our prayers.

“Now let me tell you my prophesy for Nigeria; Nigeria will stand, Nigeria will not be destroyed and President Jonathan  will do a second term, he is going to win the election.

“Nigeria will stand because there are people who shed their blood for the unity of this nation. The spirits of those people who died in the civil war are crying and praying to God for this nation. Why did they die? They died to unify this country and if there was need for Nigeria to disintegrate there would have been no civil war. These are people who paid the supreme price, who used their lives and blood as sacrifice, who died for the unity of Nigeria, they cannot die in vain. So, the spirits of these people are crying and praying to God that Nigeria must be one and God does not play with the sacrifice of blood.

“As a prophet of God I have seen it many times as the spirits of those people are crying to God and not all of them were sinners, there were Christians and righteous men among the people who died during the civil war and they are pleading to God that they died because of the unity of Nigeria and pray to God not to allow Nigeria to break. So, what is saving Nigeria is God, if not Nigeria would have broken up before now but since there is God, I assure you Nigeria will not break in the times of Jonathan.”

He advised Nigerians to be prepared for the rescheduled elections by picking up their PVCs and vote for the candidate of their choice.

“Vote for the candidate of your choice, do not cause mayhem, do not cause trouble because those who are planning trouble will not even live to see the day of the elections because we are praying.”

Earlier, in a sermon delivered by Bishop Jerry Gbakara, guest speaker during the event, titled ‘Give me my own’, he exhorted the congregation on the workings of destiny thieves and urged Christians to reclaim their destiny by taking their cases to God for judgment.

“If your matter comes before God, Jesus will take it over and that juju or demon that says you cannot prosper will be disgraced because at the name of Jesus every  knee shall bow and Jesus will take your destiny from your enemies and hand it back to you”, he assured.
