NDDC pledges commitment to development of Niger Delta region

The Executive Director Projects, EDP, of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC ), Engr. Samuel Adjogbe, has pledged his commitment to the President Buhari’s mandate to ensuring sustainable development and peace in the Niger Delta region.
Engr. Adjogbe made the vow when he paid a courtesy visit to traditional rulers of Ughelli North LGA.
The visit which took place at the palace of the Ovie of Ughelli Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, (HRM) Dr. Ojakovo Oharisi III (JP) had other monarchs from the Local Government Area in attendance.
Receiving the NDDC top official, the Ovie of Ughelli, HRM, Dr. Ojakovo Oharisi III and other traditional rulers present congratulated Adjogbe on his recent appointment as the Executive Director Projects of the NDDC and wished him a productive tenure in office.
The traditional rulers also called on him to do the needful in ensuring that the Niger-Delta benefited from its available resources.
Responding, the EDP assured all of his commitment to ensuring that Ughelli North LGA and indeed the entire Niger Delta region benefitted from the opportunities by executing the developmental agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari for the region.
The Ughelli monarch on behalf of other monarchs prayed for God’s wisdom on the EDP.
HRM Richard Ebelle, Okerefe 1, Ovie of Agbarha Kingdom, HRM Eruvwedede 111, Ovie of Evwreni Kingdom and the Odion r’ode of Uwheru Kingdom, HRM Agbaovwe Afugbeya Oyise 11, representatives of the Okpara-Uku of Orogun and Osuivie of Agbarho Kingdoms were also present during the visit.
Engr. Adjogbe was accompanied by Barr. Jaro Egbo (S.A Political Matters to the EDP, and Mr. Sonni Efurhievwe S.A Special Duties to the EDP
