Mrakpor gets nomination as President of CIISM, congratulated

The Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management, has congratulated Delta State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice Delta State, Mr Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor (SAN) and Prof . Matthew Olugbenga Oyeyemi, a Doctor of Veterinary medicine on their nomination as the Institute’s President and Vice president respectively.
The Registrar of the institution Prof. Bolorunduro in his letter of conferment /congratulations, extolled the sterling leadership qualities of Dr . Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor and his vice, Prof. Mattew Olugbenga Oyeyemi which he stated singled them out for the exalted positions.
He stated further that the appointments have been carefully viewed by the (CIISM) selection committee which was based on their accomplishments as role model and mentor that demonstrate commitment to core value of leadership, integrity, loyalty, respect and selfless service.
Mr Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor, SAN, 56 years old, is an alumnus of the University of Benin Edo State, and holds a Master’s Degree in International Law and Diplomacy, a Doctorate Degree in Commerce and Enterprise Development from Bilingual University, Togo.
The Delta State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice has served as Honourable Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice Delta State since 2015 and a fellow of several institutes which includes the following: Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Chartered Institute of Mediators and Conciliators, fellow Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management, fellow Chartered Institute of Commerce and Enterprise Development , the Institute of Management Consultants and a member of the Council of Legal Education as well as the body of Benchers.
Professor Matthew Olugbenga Oyeyemi is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and holds a Master’s degree in Veterinary Public health (VPH), 1992, and Doctor of Philosophy in Theriogenology from the University of Ibadan in the year 2002.
Oyeyemi was employed as lecturer ll in 1993 and rose through the ranks and was promoted professor in 2008. He has taught Veterinary 1993 Reproduction (Theriogenology ) to undergraduate and postgraduate students and has supervised and examined many master and doctoral students at the University of Ibadan and other universities within and outside Nigeria.
He is a member of many academic and professional associations. He has to his credits over 190 publications in refereed conference proceedings and journals. He is a fellow, college of Veterinary surgeon Nigeria (FCVSN), fellow Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM).
