Runo Integrated Industries Ltd. is the manufacturer, marketer and patent owner of Runo HONEYGLOW soap.
Established in the year 2000, as an enterprise, the company began with the marketing of an herbal soap that was being produced in Lagos. Its marketing scope covered the entire South-South and South-East Geopolitical zones in Nigeria. The distribution of the product was mainly through a few marketing agents, trade fairs and direct sales by promoters to consumers within the territory.
When the demand for the product grew, the manufacturer in Lagos came under increased pressure and was unable to meet up with the demand.
Thus, in 2002, an agreement to establish a production unit in Ughelli, Delta State was reached.
Encouraged by the acceptance of herbal soap products in the market, the director of Runo enterprise took a course on herbal soap production and eventually came up with the final formula for the manufacture of the patented Runo HONEYGLOW soap.
Production of this product commenced in 2004 with locally made equipment. The soap was introduced to all the southern state of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. The market response was encouraging and demand increased steadily.
As the activities of the company grew, it became necessary to have it registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Abuja in the year 2005.
In 2007, the soap was taken outside Nigeria and was introduced to the Cotonou market in Benin Republic and Barmenda in Cameroun. Due to the demand in both countries, the management embarked on the process of obtaining NAFDAC recognition so as to officially export the product to West African countries. Fortunately the management secured NAFDAC recognition in 2010 and also obtained application form for Nigerian Export Production Council to help promote the product in the international markets.
Over the years, the company upgraded its production facilities to average monthly production capacity of 72,000 tablets (1,000 cartons). Faced with the challenging situation of meeting consumers demand, the management decided to offer this investment opportunity to local and international businessmen to invest in the soap business as sole marketers worldwide for mutual benefits.
Management guarantees unrestricted supply of product to the marketers.
The criteria for appointment as a marketing partner and or sole distributor in a market zone include:
(1.) Making an initial deposit payment of $17, 000 USD an equivalent of N2, 550,000 NGN.
(2.) Payment for minimum of 200 cartons per month within the first six months.
