Idjerhe hosts Urhobo professional Orators in grand style

The Idjerhe/Mosogar zone of the Urhobo Professional Orators has again been commended by the National Association of Urhobo Professional Orators (NAUPO) for hosting the body in grand style.
The ceremony which took place recently at the residence of the National Secretary, Comrade Eugene Adegor, in Jesse, headquarters of Idjerhe kingdom, was said to be part of the concerted efforts to spread the tentacle of the Urhobo Professional Orators to the length and breadth of Urhobo nation. It was gathered that hitherto, all orators had unanimously agreed to rotate the national meeting amongst all the zones for proper synergy with them (zones) so as to collectively and diligently pursue the aims and objectives of the association to a logical conclusion.
Since then, the meeting was said to be holding every first Wednesday of every month with two months at zonal level and thereafter take to the headquarters in Oviorie, home town of the President General, Chief (Prof.) S.A Ofua, Ethiope East LGA, to hold in the following month, it was revealed.
In the meeting held in Jesse, various issues bothering on the development of NAUPO were presented and deliberated upon particularly the issue of Task Force which the association has proposed to constitute in no distant future. According to them, the Task Force would operate in collaboration with the Police and other law enforcement agency in order to checkmate infiltrators as well as inactive Orators whose activities in recent times could jeopardize the future of the association. They noted that the orators’ association was registered with government thus would not condole any form of infiltration or sabotage by any member of the society.
Meanwhile, the Idjerhe/Mosogar zone under the leadership of Orator Philip Oyibo that was said to have been commended and rewarded severally in the past for their total commitment in actualizing the goals of NAUPO, was also said to have maintained the status-quo as their turnout to the meeting was not only impressive but also the organization and co-ordination of the meeting as well as refreshment package that were adjudged to be excellent by all orators in attendance advising the Idjerhe/Mosogar zone to always keep the flag flying.
In the same vein, the newly constituted executive officers of the Oghara zone led by orator Ufuoma Bobori, were also inaugurated as part of the activities featured in that meeting. Shortly after the inauguration, the first Vice-President Chief J.E Aphia, charged them to co-operate and discharge their duties in accordance with the constitution of NAUPO in order to take it to a greater height.
