The Head teacher of Ihwrekoko Primary School, Comrade (Rotn.) Wilfred Ovuorayevbie has commended the DESOPADEC Commissioner representing Ughelli North and Ethopie East Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Chris Emaye Obiuwevbi Omininimini for donating over 50 Pupils desk and 16 teachers’ tables and chairs to the school.
Rt. Hon. Chris Emaye Obiuwevbi Omininimini donated thousands of Pupils desk and teachers’ tables and chairs to many Primary Schools in his mandate area as part of his contribution to the improvement of the educational standard in Ughelli North and Ethopie East L.G.A of Delta state. Iwhreko Primary School, Ughelli was one of the many Primary
Schools that benefited from the kind donation from the Commissioner who is known for executing projects aimed at improving the living standard of his people.
The Veteran School Administrator who is also the President -elect of Rotary Club of Ughelli Metropolis,  gave the commendation recently while addressing newsmen in the school premises few days after the donation.
He said that he was happy because the donation of the pupil’s desk and teachers’ tables and chairs will no doubt go a long way in enhancing the process of teaching and learning in the school. He said the school was in dire need of pupils’ desks and teachers’ tables and chairs because many of the desks, chairs and tables in the school have been vandalize by hoodlums who usually invade the school after school hours.

He said the donation brought joy to the hearts of the pupils who have been saved from the
agony of sitting on bare floor to learn.  For him the donation came at the right time and the school remained thankful for the kind donation by the Commissioner.
Comrade Ovuorayevbie said that he decided to publicly commend the commissioner because that was the right thing to do when something good has been done to you believing tha appreciation opens the door for more blessings from God and fellow men.

 

His words, “I have decided to address you (newsmen) today to tell you that Rt. Hon. Chris Emaye Obiuwevbi Omininimini has done a very great project in my school and I wish to commend him for that. He has donated pupils’ desk and teachers’ tables and chairs to my
school, a very great gesture that has improved the learning and teaching standard of my school”

 

. He added, “I did not want to behave like the biblical nine lepers who went away after receiving their healing without coming back to say “ thank you” to Jesus. I have
therefore called you all here today, to tell you that, I am happy for what Rt. Hon. Chris Emaye Obiuwevbi Omininimini has done for my school and I am sending him greetings on behalf of myself, staff and pupils of this wonderful institution of learning”. He concluded by saying, “the donation by the Commissioner, has truly transformed the learning
standard of the school and we pray that God in his infinite mercies will bless, protect and guide him for this great thing that he has done for us!”

 
He use the opportunity to call on government, Non-Governmental Organizations (N.G.O), religious bodies, community leaders and well-meaning individuals to emulate the good works of Rt. Hon. Chris Emaye Obiuwevbi Omininimini by coming to the aid of the school that is in need of many other learning facilities particularly, rebuilding the dilapidated school building, that has degraded the ambience of the school.

 
He equally used the opportunity to congratulate Rt. Hon. Fetus Ovie Agas and Justice Marshal Mukoro on their recent elevation to the position of the Secretary to Delta State Government and Chief Judge of Delta State respectively.

 

He described their elevations as sign of more good things that are to come to Ughelli kingdom in particular and Delta state at large. He expressed confidence that the duo of Agas and Mukoro have what it takes to succeed in their new positions having served in various capacities. He stated that, their past experience will definitely be put into use in their new appointments for the development and overall growth of the state. He therefore, called on all Deltans to support the new leaders  on whatever it takes to take the state to a great height
