Nigerians and indeed citizens of Delta state have been charged to wake up to their civic responsibility and ensure that they exercise their franchise in 2019 general elections.

The charge was contained in a statement issued on Sunday, August 26,  by the foremost online media group, Delta Online Publishers’ Forum (DOPF).

The statement which was signed by the group’s chairman and secretary, Messrs Enebeli Emmanuel and Shedrack Onitsha respectively urged Nigerians to take advantage of the remaining days of registration of eligible voters to register and those who have done so to guide and keep their PVC jealously to enable them cast their votes during the 2019 elections

They urged Nigerians not to loose hope in the country but do their bid to salvage the situation by determining who  is voted  into the executive and as legislators next year.

DOPF frowned at the political upheaval in the National Assembly and called on the leadership of various political parties as well as the FG to call their members to order for the sake of the common Nigerian who holds no less a stake in the Nigeria project than the politicians, but  equal stakeholders.
