Gay suspects escape lynching, hunted

Gay suspects allegedly caught in the act narrowly escaped being lynched by angry mob in Oko the Polytechnic town of Anambra State recently.
One of the suspects, Benneth Chiedozie Ugwoegbu had attended a birthday party in Oko on the invitation of a friend whose name was simply given as Collins.
The party which held on Saturday, 17 June, 2017 attracted dignitaries in the society where Benneth allegedly met his partner identified simply as Martins.
Deep into the night when the party ended, Benneth along with his new friends retired into the host apartment.
But at 5a.m the following morning, Benneth and his partner were caught engulfed in oral sex by Collins’ room mate who was already awake unknown to the love birds.
Shocked; he raised the alarm which attracted crowd of neighbours who descended mercilessly on the twosome beating them to pulp.
But for the timely arrival of the police they would have been lynched though, Benneth managed to escape arrest leaving his partner.
Sources confided in our reporter that however, the tentacles of the Police have been spread to bring him to justice.
Further investigation revealed that many of the young people are now secretly into gay practice in Nigeria especially among students of tertiary institutions.
This is in defiant of the criminalization of the practice by the Federal Government in 2014 even as it is considered a taboo across the country.
