The Emadadja community in Udu LGA of Delta State on Saturday September 28th swore in Evang.Emmananuel Jedje as the President General of the Community.

The elated President General Evang. Emmanuel Jedje   in his inaugural speech thanked and congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa ,HRM Bar.  I Delekpe ,the Ovie of Udu kingdom, the President General of Udu ,Chief Notoma, Sir Richard Odibo, Chief John Olomu, Chief Alfred Okaka, Evang.  Samuel Oteheri ,the elders  of Emadadja,  the immediate past Exco led by Hon.Sido Ominioni for leading  the community peacefully in his tenure,  various stakeholders, the Eghweya,  the middle age , the youths, all sons and daughters of Emadadja community both at home and in Diaspora for maintaining peace and for the overwhelming support given to him during the struggle and the final victory of his emergence as the authentic  PG  of Emadadja Community.

Evang. Emmanuel Jedje the new Emadadja community  PG also called on  Governor Okowa  to take advantage of the peaceful nature of the community to site relevant government projects in the community.

He lauded the outgoing Exco and other stakeholders who midwife his victory saying they did a good job in deciding that the office of the PG should favour the Esomorho family in line with the provision of the community Constitution.

He  stressed the need for peaceful coexistence amongst the people so that the human and natural resources of the area can be put into judicious use for the betterment of all stakeholders adding that he will ensure that the existing sustainable peace in Emadadja community is maintained all through  his tenure.

Reacting to the development, John Edijalatie,  Evang Jedje O.H.,  CID Origbo amongst other elders in the community who spoke to the media expressed joy over the emergence of Evang Emmanuel Jedje as the PG of Emadadja Community.

They called on the people to give their total support to Evang Emmanuel Jedje the PG so that he could bring the needed development to Emadadja community.

Mrs Promise Omotuvie, Madam Baby Ighogboja and Mr Ovwenmejepha Emmanuel who also spoke on behalf of the community woman, Eghweya,  Emete,  and youths respectively thanked the community elders for the successful swearing in of the PG in the person of Evang Emmanuel Jedje in line with the decision of outgoing Exco and relevant stakeholders as stipulated by the community Constitution
