Ekpan APC ward 9 inaugurates Exco as Omafume declares intent for DTHA race

Hon. Wilfred Omafume Edejewhro has finally declared his intention to contest for the Delta State House of Assembly just as Ekpan APC Ward-9 Executives has been inaugurated .
The event took place recently in Ekpan, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
Hon. Wilfred Omafume Edejewhro while declaring his intention to contest for the Delta State House of Assembly in Uvwie Constituency under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) explained that he has always desired to represent the Uvwie people in the legislative arm of government because of failure of past representative to represent the interest of the people but their selfish interest.
He noted that past elections in Uvwie which were often marred by thuggery and intimidation was caused by desperate politicians who want to occupy public office by all means and that has put Uvwie in bad light. According to him, it is not good in a normal democratic setting.
He assured that the ongoing crisis within the APC will not stop the party from winning the general election come 2019 as the party was going to put its house in order and canvass to win the election and then bring Uvwie kingdom to its original place adding that what the locust has eaten shall be recovered.
Also speaking at the event, the APC Uvwie Local Government Chairman, Comrade Blessing Ileleji called on members of the party to be up and doing especially now that 2019 is around the corner.
He cautioned APC faithful to shun anti party activities and work for the progress of the party
Highpoint of the occasion was the formal declaration of Hon. Wilfred Omafume Edejewhro for the Delta State House of Assembly under the platform of the APC and the inauguration of Ekpan APC Ward-9 Executives which was performed by Barrister Charles Odigue.
The APC Ekpan Ward-9 Chairman, Mr. Charles Tietie said the party in his ward was firm and strong ahead of the election. According to him, the party represents change and that was why they were bringing leaders that will bring the needed change and not leaders that will divert public Fund for their selfish interest.
Among those inaugurated are, Charles Tietie -Chairman , Christian Ujura- Vice Chairman , Peter Onaodowan – Secretary , Patience , Omatsheye -Women leader, Ola Shedrack – Youth leader, Jemerigbe Odafe – Publicity secretary, Festus Ahwabejiro – Treasurer, Austine Eyaife – Welfare officer, Jelili Ishola – Auditor , Samuel Okorodudu – Organising secretary and Emma Esiri – Financial secretary . Others are Philip Oshiapi – Legal adviser , Oghenerho Esin – Assistant secretary , Mercy Akpojisheri – Assistant women leader , Kevwe Shakpoke – Assistant youth leader , Nwachukwu Matthew – Assistant publicity secretary , Doris Okolie – Assistant treasurer , Mike Miller – Assistant welfare officer , Hero Adjenughure – Assistant auditor , Nimi Ogoba – Assistant financial secretary, Justina Ujara – Assistant organising secretary and Dele Omamor – Assistant legal adviser .
