A group, Delta Political Actualization Network (DPAN) has adopted the APC as the political party of choice for the 2019 election in Delta state.
Chairman of the group, Comrade Evangelist Raynet Ative Ishaka disclosed this on Sunday, Sept 9 at Ekrokpe during the official inauguration of the branch of the group in Ughelli South LGA.
He said their decision to adopt the APC stemmed from their conviction in the person of Chief Great Ogboru as the expected political Messiah that would liberate Delta state from the shackles of poverty imposed on Deltans by the PDP over the years.
He assured that the group will go round the state to sensitize and mobilize the grassroots to vote for Chief Great Ogboru in the 2019 election by embarking on door to door campaign to stop PDP from being in government again.
According to the chairman, the group will carry out the campaigns to the 25 LGAs of Delta state to call for support for Ogboru because “we need to have good governance and the message will be clear, ‘Our Mumu Don Do Okowa Must Go’.”
Chairman of the group in Ughelli South, Chief Ted Umukoro assured that the group will work with the APC to actualize the dream of good governance in Delta state through the election of Chief Great Ogboru.
Ted Umukoro who is also the secretary of Ekakpamre ward 7 said he will work in concert with the 87 member exco of the group in the LGA to actualize the dream.
Already, there are over 200 registered members of the group in Ughelli South LGA, Ted Umukoro said.
