The PDP in Delta state is investigating allegations of anti party activities leveled against some of its members and the findings will be made public soon.

Chairman of the party in the state, Olorogun Barr Kingsley Esiso disclosed this in Ovwor-Olomu during the Okowa re-election victory celebration organized by the PDP in Ughelli South.

The state chairman of the party described Ughelli South LGA as a power bloc of the PDP in the state that was capable of doing the party proud and indeed did her proud during the just concluded 2019 general elections.

He said for any political party to succeed the leaders and followers synergize and operate in unity of purpose and that was exactly what the party in Ughelli South did.

He informed that the PDP has set up a panel to investigate those alleged of anti party activities during the 2019 election and the results of the findings would be made known at the end of the investigation.

Chief host of the event, Chief John Oguma while speaking with the press assured that the second tenure of Gov Okowa promises to be better for Deltans as the governor’s first term was laden with economic recession but for a magic finger the governor used to navigate the economy of the state to great heights.

The chairman of the party in the LGA, Hon Mike Oshetigho in his remark said the purpose of the celebration was to appreciate the effort of all party members in securing total victory for all its candidates during the 2019 general elections.

He said despite threats of federal might, the PDP had confidence in God through whom victory was secured.

The event was attended by PDP chieftains and stalwarts in Ughelli South including former deputy governor, Prof Amos Utuama and Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, Dr AP Fovie  among others.
