Delta NULGE Chairmen pass confidence vote on Ofoeyeno

The Branch chairmen’s Forum of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGEE), Delta State has passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of the Delta State President of the union, High Comrade David Ofoeyeno.
Rising from an emergency meeting of the Branch Chairmen of the 25 LGAs of Delta State held in Warri on Thursday, Sept 5, the Forum in a Communique issued and signed by Comrade Omo-Ohwo Ijolo (Chairman) and Comrade (Engr) Henry Yeigagha, at the end of the meeting resolved to express their appreciation to the Chairman and members of the Local Govt Service Commission, Delta State for their transformation initiatives and training of staff locally and internationally, since assumption of office.
They thanked the entire workers of the 25 local government councils of Delta State for the support accorded the administration of Comrade David Ofoeyeno.
Evaluating the administration of the union at the Delta State level, the Forum noted that Comrade Ofoeyeno has performed excellently well and consequently passed a vote of confidence on his leadership.
“Comrade David Ofoeyeno’s Foundation has positively touched the lives of local government workers through his lofty empowerment programmes to widows and distribution of gift items to married couples and retirees of the Local Government councils across the State.
“Since the first tenure of Comrade Ofoeyeno has witnessed tremendous improvement in the socio-economic lives of the local government workers across the State, the Forum consequently calls on the Delta State President of NULGE, Comrade Ofoeyeno to opt for re-election during the State Delegates Conference scheduled to hold on October, 2013 in Asaba.
Pledging their unalloyed loyalty and commitment to the administration of Comrade David Ofoeyeno, the Forum gave assurance of its support for Comrade Ofoeyeno’e re-election.
