Arhavwarien eyes private jet before retirement
By Jon Egie
Rt. Rev. Jonathan Arhavwarien, Bishop of St Lazarus Church of Christ Int’l Inc. has said that before his retirement age at 80, he will own a private jet and dedicate it to God.
The cleric made the assertion during the occasion of the celebration of the Church’s Shiloh 2013 held at the St.Lazarus Camp Ground, Ewu-Urhobo commonly called Wilderness, recently.
The celebration at the wilderness attracted members of the church from all over Nigeria some of who rented apartments in Ewu-Urhobo for the seven days the programme lasted.
During the feast of dedications, the leadership of the church led by Deacon Examiner Omomine who is the national chairman of the church presented a Pathfinder 2002 model Jeep to replace the old Mercedes Benz regular car the Bishop who is also the General Overseer of the church was using. The Jeep was then dedicated to God by senior members of the Organization of African Instituted Churches (OAIC) that were present at the occasion.
Earlier, the church members: men, women, youth and ministers of the church engaged themselves in ecstatic dance to the glory of God.
The Bishop assured them that by dancing to the glory of God their sicknesses, poverty and all distress will be removed and they will have long life and prosperity.
He also assured the church members that as they left the Shiloh ground they would receive miracles that would transform their lives and lift them to higher ground and let them enjoy from grace to grace.
In a sermon titled “I am here to receive my rain of blessing” Bishop Arhavwarion reassured that more blessings of cars, houses and various promotions will be celebrated and dedicated to God by next year’s Shiloh.
