A Centre for the needy named “AngelDom Centre for the Needy Foundation” was recently unveiled during the 40th birthday celebration of the founder and initiator Mrs. Angela Dominic.

The centre according to Mrs. Dominic is opened to cater for the need of the less privilege in the society and to as well put smile on their faces. The Centre believes that life is worth living when shared with others especially those who are down trodden and weak in the society.

Mrs. Angela Dominic who celebrated her 40th birthday took out time to visit different orphanage homes both in Warri and environs.

While at the Catholic Old people’s home, Bowen Avenue Warri, Mrs. Angela accompanied by family members,  friends and colleagues donated food stuff, toiletries and other personal effects to the aged people noting that  giving especially to the poor and less privilege gives joy and happiness to the heart and as well excite God.

She happily embraced the aged in the home and encouraged them to always be prayerful and hopeful as God always cares for His people.

The philanthropist also visited other orphanage home such as Esther Court Orphanage, Kings Kid Orphanage and Little Saint Orphanage where food items and cash was also presented to inmates and management of the different home.

As part of appreciation to God, Mrs. Angela Dominic also hosted widows/widower and other less privilege persons to a party where food items such as bags of rice, cartons of Indomie and other food times were presented to individuals.

Over 1,000 beneficiaries received food items as well as cash gifts.

In an interview, Mrs. Angela Dominic said she was spurred by her mother whom she said has been giving support to the old and the less privilege and that she knew the joy inherent in it, hence she toes  the same path with her mother.

The highly elated philanthropist and care giver called on others to follow suit as no one is too poor to give out something.
